Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
We accept most commercial insurances (BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare) as well as various forms of Medicaid and Medicare. Please reach out to see if we are in network with your insurance.
With an HMO, you will typically need to choose a primary care physician (PCP) from within the HMO network. . If you require specialized care or treatments, your PCP will refer you to specialists within the HMO network. In most HMOs, if you need to see a specialist, your PCP must provide a referral before you can see them.
HMOs generally provide coverage for services received from healthcare providers within the HMO network. In-network services are usually covered in full or with a copayment, depending on the specific terms of your HMO plan.
HMOs typically have limited or no coverage for services received from healthcare providers outside of the network.
1. Copay: A copay, or copayment, is a fixed amount of money that an insured person must pay out of pocket for a specific healthcare service or prescription medication. For example, your health insurance plan may require you to pay a $20 copay for each visit to a primary care physician or $10 for generic prescription drugs. The insurance company typically covers the remaining cost of the service or medication.
2. Deductible: A deductible is the amount of money you must pay out of pocket for healthcare services or medical expenses before your health insurance starts to cover a portion of the costs. For instance, if your health insurance has a $1,000 deductible, you will need to pay the full cost of medical services until you reach that amount.
3. Coinsurance: Coinsurance is a cost-sharing arrangement between you and your health insurance company after you've met your deductible. For example, if your health insurance plan has a 20% coinsurance for appointments with us, and you have already paid your deductible, you would be responsible for paying 20% of the cost of covered, while the insurance company would cover the remaining 80%.
Medical marijuana paperwork registration, ketamine treatments, medspa services, and weight management medication. These will be out of pocket expenses.
We offer both in person and virtual appointments, which are dependent on the provider's schedule.
Initial evaluations are on hour long. Follow ups for medication management are 15 minutes, and therapy appointments are 45-50 minutes long. Ketamine sessions are 2 hours long and medspa services vary depending on the services.
